Babushan refereed as an excellent classical singer since the age of 10, and his parent particularly mother Aparajita desires him as an honest singer rather than an actor.
When he was continuing 2nd year of +2 Science in age of 18, he started his career as an Actor in film "Romeo, The Lover Boy" with the banner 'Brajraj Movies'. This movie was highly anticipated in the industry, but turned out to be a box office disaster. He also sang a couple of songs in the film too. Although the film didn't work, his talent got noticed. His second Film "To akhire mun", became sleeper hit and his romantic image appealed to audience. His acting was highly appreciated in the film "Prema Adhei akshyara". The onscreen chemistry of babusan and first time actress Riya wooed audience.
